List of Events for the L.A.W. State Championships on Labor Day

An additional feature which will add considerably to the general interest, has been added to the programme of events to be run off at the annual Fall championship meet of the New York State Division League of American Wheelmen. It is a race for District Messenger boys. For the State police championship race there are numerous entries.

The events scheduled are:

Amateur

No. 1 One-mile for Novices – First prize, value $20, second prize, value $10; third prize, value $5.

No. 2 Quarter-mile State Championship – Prizes, regulation die medals.

No. 3 One-mile Scratch – First prize diamond $35, second prize diamond $15; third prize diamond $10.

No. 4 One-mile, Messenger Boys Metropolitan District Championship – First prize value, $20, second prize, value $10; third prize, value $5.

No. 5 Two-mile State Championship – Prizes, regulation die medals

No. 6 Two-mile, Tandem Championship First prize diamond $20, each; second prize diamond $10 each; third prize umbrellas value $5 each.

Professional

No. 7 One mile Handicap – First prize $75; second prize $40; third prize $20

No. 8 One-mile, Police State Championship First prize value $75, each; second prize value $50 each; third prize value $20 each.
