... Looks like we're gonna be stuck here the whole summer, well wottabummer, I can think of a lot worse places to be like down on the streetsor down in the sewer or even on the end of a skewer. Curse your luck againcc, why didn't you get it together to get out before the meltdown? By thetime you read this the city should be starting to come to life (?) againafter the hottest, most polluted summer ever. Whilst temperatures and ozonereadings were at an all time high work was at an all time low. The recessionhas hit media and hard, not that anyone is going to shed a tear over somefat-cat Ad-man going without his Porsche for a while but if all your clientshave gone broke it stands to reason that they're not going to be able topay to send bikes to fetch green top carrots from Horrids Food Hall. Theinterests rates, business rates and school holidays combined to make ita really slow summer. Slow? It went backwards. Doubtless a few dispatchcompanies will have changed hands or have disappeared altogether. Letshope that no cc lets a desperate boss push him or her in to any nonsenseslike rate cuts, taking cash jobs away and other such foolishness.
